The charity started in 2012 and its sister charity is Spanish Stray Dogs, the difference being that Spanish Stray Dogs UK deal with UK customers who wish to transport their dogs from Spain to the UK.
Puppy Rescue in Spain
Puppy Rescue in Spain does both national adoption and international adoption. The organisation was setup in 2005 and has since given a home to thousands of puppies. Their aim, like most rehoming charities is to rehome abandoned, abused, and neglected puppies to their forever homes. They provide food, love, shelter, and training to the puppies while they are in their care. When the puppies here grow older, they are transported to a rehoming centre in the Netherlands for the best chance at being rehomed. Rushton Dog Rescue
The Rushton Dog Rescue charity was set up in 2007 in memory of Cindi McNeil Regan’s soulmate, Timothy, who loved animals, particularly dogs. Timothy’s goal was to start a dog rescue centre in Spain, but unfortunately he died before he was able to make that happen at the young age of 27. Cindi then set it up in his memory, dedicating her life to helping abandoned, stray, and abused dogs to find their forever homes. This charity are unique in the sense that they rescue dogs from all over the world, including as far away as China. The Rushton Dog Rescue have a focus on saving dogs, but they do also rescue other animals including cats, horses, and even pigs.
Adopt a Spanish Rescue Dog
The Adopt a Spanish Rescue Dog charity rescues Spanish dogs from urgent situations through ACTIN (Animal Care Treatment International Network). Most of the dogs come from an abandoned and/or cruel background and are in search of some love and a forever home. Their character will be assessed and everything will be done including vaccinations etc. prior to adoption.
